Size: Small (5-6) Medium (7-8) Large (9-10)
Materials: Lily’s Sugar’n Cream or any number 4 cotton yarn.
2.5 ounces (70.9g)
Tapestry or yarn needle
Hook: Size H (5.0mm) crochet hook or size to obtain gauge
Gauge: 4 dc = 1 inch 2 rows = 1 inch
Note: Numbers in parenthesis are for medium and large sizes.
Ch 4, join with a sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3. 11 dc in ring. Join with a sl st to top of first ch 3.
Rnd 2: Ch 3. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. * 2 dc in next st, rep from * around. Join with a sl st to top of first ch 3. 24 dc.
Rnd 3: For Small size only. Ch 3. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. 1 dc in each of next 3 sts. *2 dc in next st. 1 dc in each of next 3 sts. Rep from * around. Join with a sl st to top of first ch 3. 30 dc.
Rnds 4-6: For Small size only. Ch 3. 1 dc in each st around. Join with a sl st to top of first ch 3. 30 dc.
Rnd 3: For sizes Medium and Large. Ch 3. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. 1 dc in each of next 5 sts. *2 dc in next st. 1 dc in each of next 5 sts. Rep from * around. Join with a sl st to top of first ch 3. 28 dc.
Rnd 4: For sizes Medium and Large. Ch 3. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. 1 dc in each of next 6 sts. *2 dc in next st. 1 dc in each of next 6 sts. Rep from * around. Join with a sl st to top of first ch 3. 32 dc.
Rnds 5-7: For sizes Medium and Large. Ch 3. 1 dc in each st around. Join with a sl st to top of first ch 3. 32 dc.
Note: You will now be working in rows for all sizes. Medium and Large instructions are in parenthesis.
Row 1: Ch 3. 1 dc in each of next 22 (24, 24) sts. Ch 3. Turn. 23 (25, 25) dc.
Rows 2-9 (10, 12): 1 dc in each st across. Ch 3. Turn. 23 (25, 25) dc.
Row 10 (11, 13): 1 dc in each of next 9 (10, 10) sts. work next 3 sts together as follows: (insert hook in next st, draw up lp) 3 times, yo, draw through all lps on hook. 1 dc in each of next 10 (11, 11) sts. Fasten off leaving a length of yarn to sew center back of slipper. With yarn end threaded in tapestry needle sew slipper heel together.
Edging
Rnd 1: Rejoin yarn with sc around bar of dc just to the left of heel. Sc around same bar. 2 sc around each bar and 1 sc in each st across toe. Join with a sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
Drawstring: Ch 85. Fasten off.
